The oak parquet flooring in this Fulham house was looking tired and in serious need of refinishing. During our obligation-free survey, we did detailed inspection of the wooden floors & discussed with the client all possible options, followed by detailed quote with our floor sanding & repairs pricing.
Our client has decided to go for floor sanding of 56 sqm oak parquet flooring and finishing the floors in matt Lacquer.
How we carried out this oak parquet flooring restoration...
Parquet flooring comprises of large quantity of small flooring pieces forming a pattern. Our floor men will carefully inspect the floors for loose blocks and hollowness, and take further steps on this stage, if required.
During the oak parquet flooring restoration the entire timber surface is going through a process of levelling with coarser grids, finishing with finer grids, and finally buffing, prior to the application of the sealant & between the coats, for perfect results.
Our works included approx. 56 sqm oak parquet flooring floor restoration and finishing in matt lacquer. The sealing went down with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of Bona Mega lacquer.
Overall, this floor restoration project in Fulham was completed as scheduled and to the delight of the client.
