Before the works...

The teak solid wood flooring in this Stanmore Property was looking tired and in serious need of renovation. During our initial survey, we did detailed inspection of the floors and discussed with the client all possible options.

Our client has decided to go for floor sanding, gap filling, of teak solid wood flooring and finishing the floors in gloss Lacquer.

How we made it happen...

After our floor sanding experts have checked all property & service details on site, they started with lifting existing and its preparation for disposal to our waste facility.

Our works included wood floor restoration of approx. 116 sqm solid wood flooring and finishing in 2 coats gloss Lacquer. The sealing went down with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of Lacquer.

We also carried out gap filling as part of the floor refinishing process. We aim to apply resin filler in the end of the working day, so it settles properly overnight and in case it is needed we can repeat it on the following day , if required. The resin gap filling is after that removed by next step of the finishing process with medium grids .

Overall the project was completed as planned and to the delight of the client.
