Before the works...

During our initial survey, we did a thorough inspection of the wooden floors & discussed with the client all possible options, followed by comprehensive quotation with our floor sanding & repairs prices.
Our client has decided to go for floor sanding of 15 sqm beech engineered wood flooring and finishing the floors in matt Lacquer.
How carried out this beech engineered wood flooring renovation...
Engineered wood flooring comes with different depth of the top layer. During the site survey, we have confirmed the remaining thickness however, our team will double check again, there is sufficient depth before starting the floor restoration works.
During the beech engineered floor restoration, the timber floors are going through a process of levelling with coarser grids, finishing with finer grids, and finally buffing, prior to sealing & between the coats, for outstanding results.
Our works included approx. 15 sqm beech engineered wood flooring floor sanding and finishing in matt lacquer. The sealing went down with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of Bona Mega lacquer.
Overall, this floor sanding project in Shepperton was completed as planned and to the satisfaction of the client.
Did you know this about beech flooring?
Beech is one of the hardest and most flexible timbers. In commercial use, this is the type of timber used for sport floors, in gyms and schools, which we refinish regularly throughout the year for many public and education establishments.
