The oak parquet flooring in this Archway Property was looking tired and in timely need of renovation. During our initial survey, we did a thorough inspection of the floors & discussed with the client all possible options, followed by detailed quote with our floor sanding & repairs pricing.
Our client has decided to go for floor sanding of 28 sqm oak parquet flooring and finishing the floors in matt Lacquer.
How we completed this oak parquet flooring restoration...
Parquet flooring comprises of large quantity of small wooden pieces forming a pattern. Our technicians will carefully inspect the floors for loose blocks and hollowness, and take steps on this stage, if required.
During the oak parquet flooring restoration the timber floors are going through a sanding process of levelling with coarser grids, finishing with finer grids, and finally buffing, prior to the application of the sealant & between the coats, for excellent results.
Our works included approx. 28 sqm oak parquet flooring floor restoration and finishing in matt lacquer. The sealing went down with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of Bona Mega lacquer.
Overall, this floor restoration project in Archway was completed as originally planned and to the delight of the client.
